New Materials Testing at I-GIT / AERTC in Stony Brook

Our team has partnered with lab experts at Stony Brook University’s Advanced Energy Center Institute of Gas Innovation and Technology testing new materials for optimal hydrogen production using our newly designed patent pending test rig.

>With exciting results already shown, we’re building multiple rigs for testing new materials with a wide variety of non-potable water sources.

Long Island Energy Conference Fuels Hope for Renewables

Our team attended the Long Island Energy Conference, in an audience of over 100 important Long Island energy and industry professionals.

“Long Island is taking a leading role in the burgeoning renewable energy industry in what may be the biggest business development since the Grumman Corporation built the Lunar Module in Bethpage to put the first men on the Moon in 1969.”

“I’m working on other renewable energies like green hydrogen, which is very important,” State Sen. Mario Mattera, the ranking member on the senate energy and telecommunications committee, said.

“When we talk about the energy transition, we always talk about not leaving anyone behind,” Rudy Wynter, president of National Grid, told the Press. “We have to make sure the workforce is ready for that transition, and make sure our customers are ready for that transition.

Closing remarks were given by our friend Sammy Chu, CEO of Edgewise Energy a commercial energy solutions company. “My biggest hope is that we all continue to work together,” Chu told the Press. “We need to make sure that we understand that we’re all invested in this, that everyone has something to contribute to this, and that we continue to do the work because it’s gonna take all of us to get there.”

Element One Hydrogen sponsors Waterfront Alliance Heroes of the Harbor annual event

Our joint venture Element One Hydrogen and our friends at Red Hook Terminals of Brooklyn NY, sponsored the annual Waterfront Alliance Celebrates Maritime Leadership at Heroes of the Harbor Gala at the Hyatt Regency Jersey City with emcee comedian Chuck Nice.

Every year, the Waterfront Alliance honors those who have contributed to the vibrancy, sustainability, economy, education, and awareness of the New York and New Jersey harbor, its port, and the metropolitan area. This event elevates the importance of our waterways, port, and coastlines to decision makers, influencers, and leadership.

A major highlight of the event was honoree US Coast Guard Sector New York Captain Zeita Merchant, now Admiral-Select, the first African American woman to be selected for Flag rank in the Coast Guard.
